I've been working in different teams for more than 20 years. Throughout this period, I experienced various ways of managing. Above all, I saw how the leader can either motivate or demotivate employees. Personally, I am very interested in relations in the workplace and interaction with each other. It is a masterpiece to create a team from a group of people who help, support and accept each other.
There is a lot of competition in the academic environment and a lot of hard work is needed for success. It is important to find the right balance between work and personal life. My goal is to help in creating the best, the most satisfied and connected team of geneticists at The Roslin Institute.
